Pritchardia pacifica Fiji Fan Palm

Palm Requirements

Fiji Fan Palm prefers  full sun but an irrigation bubbler line will need to be installed with at least 1 good soaking per week during dry season. This palm requires protection from freezing temperatures by installing this palm in the proper site location.

Palm Description

Pritchardia pacifica is one of the premier exotic palms grown in lush tropical gardens throughout Naples, Florida.  As a specimen it grows 45ft. tall with a slender single trunk. The leaves of this Palm were originally used as fans or as an overhead cover when raining.  You could imagine in days gone by, shipwrecked on remote Polynesian Island and having one of the local native women fanning you as you wait for rescue. Well unless you end up as the "guest of honor" for dinner that night.

Country/Region of Origin

Fiji, Marquesas, Marshall Is., Niue, Samoa, Society Is., Solomon Is. Tonga, Trinidad-Tobago, and Vanuatu.

The cost of planting  on your property may vary.  The Pricing includes the plant, cost of delivery, and cost of labor to install the plant.  Availability and pricing are subject to change.  All plants are purchased and delivered in pristine condition fresh from local south Florida Growers. Our plants are pest and disease free.  Regular hand watering or single tree emitter irrigation are required to keep your plants alive for the first year.

Lawn Irrigation and rainfall will not be sufficient for watering.  Your palm trees will require fertilization to maintain healthy growth.
