Palm Requirements
Yahanna Palm prefers protected afternoon shade or filtered sunlight. This palm is considered an under story palm and requires a moderate watering schedule. An irrigation bubbler line will need to be installed with at least 2 good soakings per week during dry season. This palm requires protection from freezing temperatures and high winds which would tatter the fronds. Installing this palm in the proper site location is key to a successful planting.

The Yahanna Palm is near extinction in the wild. There are still wild populations growing in the Fiji, Vanuatu and Marquesas Islands. Through cultivation efforts you can enjoy this fast growing lush palm in your Naples tropical garden.
